Dr. R. David Pagan is an alumni of the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. He graduated from there in 1990 with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. He went on to join the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program with the United States Air Force. After completing this program, he served as the Assistant Base Dental Surgeon at the Ankara Air Station in Turkey.

Upon his honorable discharge from the service in 1993, Dr. Pagan entered into a residency program at the Medical College of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University. He received his certificate in endodontics in 1995, and opened his Fredericksburg practice in the same year. Dr. Pagan's specialization is root canal procedures, and his training and skill have helped many people over the years have healthier, pain-free teeth.
